Aged Pewter Hardie Siding Renovation

What an absolutely gorgeous update! We can’t take all of the credit here - the homeowners made wonderful selections, and the masonry (completed by Justin Avery Masonry) and new garage door are major features too - but the new siding looks fantastic. A beautiful update that fits the neighborhood while modernizing the exterior.

In place of the original vinyl siding, the homeowners selected Hardie Plank siding in Aged Pewter. Aged Pewter trims were used at corners, and Iron Gray was used as their trim colour at windows/doors. You’ll note that the original design didn’t feature any trims at openings - the new trims add some additional depth to the design and play up the natural beauty of their rounded windows.

While the home looks stunning, we also got the opportunity to update the envelope to today’s building code as well. A peel and stick membrane was applied at openings (along with updates of flashings), protecting against moisture and providing an air tight barrier. Finally, the new soffit/fascia/eaves in Gentek’s Graphite round out this beautiful design.
