Yes, our crews do work through the winter!
Many of our clients are surprised to learn that Blue Jay’s crews continue to work on exterior projects throughout the winter. After all, it does tend to get pretty cold out there in January and February! With that said, re-siding people’s homes is what we do, and Edmonton is where we live – so we had better be willing to tough it out!
As we move towards the end of the summer season, we start to think about booking up our winter installation schedule.
Even though we are happy to be working outdoors all year round, the number of new inquiries that we receive varies quite a bit with the seasons. Once the snow is here to stay, we know that it’s much tougher to find work to keep our crews busy. That’s why we work so hard all summer and fall to build up a healthy schedule of projects!
Winter project discounts are available now
To help make sure we are booked up for the winter, we are offering a 6% discount to any clients who book a project starting before March 31st. Winter discounts are available on a first come, first served basis. Once we are booking into April, the promotion will be over!

Actually, yes! There are a number of advantages to booking your project for the winter months. For example:
