White vinyl siding is anything but “plain”

When these Edmonton homeowners first reached out to us, they knew they were ready to move ahead with an exterior upgrade. During our first meeting, they let us know that new windows would be getting installed before the siding project would begin. Unfortunately, the windows for this project were affected by the significant delays that took place across the construction industry in 2020, and the windows were months late.

Delayed windows were extremely common at that time. Since so many window companies use the same couple of manufacturing partners for their private label products, delays hit the entire industry. Unfortunately for the clients on this home, they felt like their window company was keeping them completely in the dark on timelines. The clients were frustrated and irritated, but eventually the windows arrived and were installed.

During this time, we kept having to adjust our installation schedule so that we could install our new siding after the windows had been installed. This meant lots of emails back and forth with these clients and others to make the adjustments, but we did what needed to be done in order to keep the crews working every day, and our upcoming clients aware of our timelines. These regular timeline update emails are something that we take seriously!

Now that the project is complete, the clients are in love with their new exterior. They chose Mitten horizontal vinyl siding in the bevel profile, and we used Royal Building Products vinyl board and batten siding in the peaks to create a subtle and tasteful accent.
