Versetta Stone and Vinyl Siding Renovation

We love how this modern update of a classic Edmonton bungalow turned out! After removing a number of trees on their property, the homeowners finally noticed the heavy weathering their old aluminum siding had taken. Staining, unsightly gaps, and uneven fading were just a few factors that sparked their interest in refreshing their exterior with new siding.

A number of features play off each other to create an eye-catching update that looks like a brand-new home. As a base colour, Royal Building Products’ Estate vinyl siding was selected in the colour “Storm” which offers a gorgeous combination of blue and gray. Storm is dark enough to look modern, but light enough to work with black accents elsewhere.

The highlight of these darker accents is the cultured stone wrapping the front walls of the home. Versetta’s Northern Ash Ledgestone contains a range of shades in a dark colour palette. Careful attention was paid to the height of the Versetta accents to balance the differing parging levels on the front walls.

We installed black Smart Trim around the front and side windows which provides a little extra visual weight to the windows, and tie in with the other dark accents. These trims stand out nicely against the white windows while fitting in perfectly with the new design.

New black fascia and eavestroughs finish off the transformation, providing a final modern touch to tie everything together.
