Sometimes, even we are a little bit surprised at how amazing the project looks when we are done with it!
For this split-level St. Albert siding renovation, the customer selected Storm, which we think is one of Royal Building Products’ most underrated colours. Storm is a unique colour: its got a little too much gray to be a blue, and a little too much blue to be a gray. It’s just a colour all on its own.
Because of Storm’s cool grayish-blue tone, the final look can really vary depending on what you accent it with. Here, the customer selected a lighter manufactured stone accent, Versetta Ledgestone in Mission Point. Put that together with white corner posts, metals, and accent trims, and the “blue-ness” really pops out.
On another project where we used Royal Storm vinyl siding in south Edmonton, the black trim boards and darker stone accents muted the siding a little bit, and brought out more of the “gray-ness”. Storm is definitely one of the most vibrant and dynamic siding colours out there! Which do you prefer, the white or the dark accents?
