Contemporary Siding Install

Note: Blue Jay Exterior Renovations no longer works on new construction homes of any kind, but we still find the designs for these homes are interesting and show a different perspective!

These twin modern infill homes are excellent examples of the architectural shift taking place in Edmonton exterior design. Rather than a single design element being highlighted on the front of the home, a wide variety of materials and textures are used to create a vibrant, contemporary aesthetic.

For these projects we installed Lux Panel wood-look accents, Royal Building Products vinyl siding, James Hardie panels, and Royal AlumiPro aluminum soffit and fascia.

The front verandas for both homes were not finished in stucco, so we took on that work as well. Iron Gray and Deep Ocean Hardie Panels were installed to match the existing stucco and vinyl siding respectively. Colour matched screws and Easy Trim extruded aluminum corners and Js help fit in to the modern design.

Since these infill homes were built side-by-side, the builder had an added design challenge. Not only did he need to design two great looking exteriors, he also needed to make sure that they worked well alongside one another!
