Complex Hardie Board Front Facade Improvement

Adding contemporary touches to a classic design, the modern farmhouse look provides a timeless update to this stunning exterior in west Edmonton.

The original exterior featured a variety of different materials and depths, so careful planning was necessary to ensure the renovation looked great from every angle. Wood strapping was fastened to the existing stucco and cinder block, while the original wood siding was removed. Custom metals were made to cover the backs of the wood strapping and create a seamless look despite the variety of depths on the wall.

Smooth Arctic White Hardie Panel and Arctic White batten strips installed in a board and batten application create the much loved farmhouse aesthetic. The black Hardie window trims are a standout feature that put a modern twist on the farmhouse design.
