New vinyl siding and masonry makes a difference

This beautiful home in south Edmonton was hiding under a drab exterior. The homeowners hired us to help uncover the beauty! After deliberating for some time, the clients settled on Mitten dutchlap vinyl siding in Sapphire Blue, along with Arctic White HardieTrim at the windows.

One of the items that we discussed with the clients in the pre-construction stage is masonry. They had asked us for pricing on Versetta panelized stone to go along with the siding on the exterior. In our experience, panelized stone products are a great fit for most homes, but they just don’t look good on bow and bay windows. We recommended against the upgrade to our project cost, and suggested that they reach out to some local masons instead. In the end, the clients hired a mason to lay cultured stone on the front of the home, and the final results are stunning! Sometimes, the best thing for the client is for us to “downsell” our own project. This was one of those times!

Some clients come to us with a firm idea of their exact dream design. Others (like these clients) need a bit more help. We are happy to help however we can! Design renderings, more sample deliveries, extra meetings… whatever needs to be done to make sure that the client is comfortable with the final selections.
