Hardie, Vinyl, & Stone Renovation
ELEGANT EXTERIOR RENOVATION IN NORTH EDMONTON
When designing a new exterior, a bungalow with a shed roof can be a bit daunting. How do you come up with a stunning exterior when you only have rectangular canvases to work with? Too much contrast, and you risk breaking the exterior into two unrelated sections. Not enough, and everything runs together.
The clients for this north Edmonton project managed to put together a perfect design by using colour coordinated siding and masonry. They chose James Hardie fiber cement lap siding in Timber Bark for the left side of the front face, and Versetta Ledgestone panelized masonry in Terra Rosa for the right. Like most other Versetta colours, Terra Rosa features several colours of rock per panel. This gives the stone more depth, and adds a bit of contrast to the front of the home. As a cost saving measure, the clients chose vinyl siding for the sides and rear. Royal Building Products vinyl siding in Toasted Almond is an extremely close match to Hardie’s Timber Bark!
