For this project, the clients had a difficult time settling on a design. In the end, they hired Draw Designs to help them get across the finish line, and this is a classic example of their aesthetic that has become so popular in the Edmonton area.

The main siding is Mountain Sage HardiePlank lap siding. Horizontal bands of Cobblestone board and batten, and Rosewood two tone shakes add definition, colour, and visual contrast to the design. Timber Bark and Arctic White HardieTrim boards accent the corners and the openings. Finally, the old Ivy Green soffit and fascia is updated to Royal Alumipro’s Cobble Stone colour (which is a close match to James Hardie’s Timber Bark - not James Hardie’s Cobblestone. We know, we made that mistake once before!)

In the end, this project is a perfect example of the flexibility of James Hardie siding. Shakes, vertical board & batten, lap siding, and trim boards - all with James Hardie fiber cement! The exterior design is unique, vibrant, and will stand the test of time with very little maintenance required. What more could you ask for?
